2005

WST's sister is located - at Carnforth
WST returns to Springwell - following a spell as passenger loco at Shildon Locomotion
October coal train day - On October 9th, Bowes held one of its now regular 'coal train days'.
Claytons come to Springwell - Three Clayton battery locos have come to Springwell.

2006

Heritage Railway Association AGM - held in Newcastle upon Tyne in February. over 70 members vist Springwell
Storming the curve - Santa Specials hauled by locos WST and No22 tackle the steep curve from Pelaw Main Junction onto the Wrekenton branch in December
