Brake Van N^o 2

This 20 ton ex-LMS Railway van N^o 1872 was built in Derby during the early 1920s, and was used on the Barrington Light Railway until 1970. Bowes Railway acquired this van from the Colne Valley Railway in exchange for an LNER brake van which came from British Steel, Hartlepool in 1978. It arrived at Springwell on 15 November 1979.
